Donato Romano

Donato Romano began his real estate career in 1967 with a local Toronto real estate firm where he was a consistent top producer in the company’s sales achievement recognition program.  He worked extensively in marketing residential and industrial properties as well as new construction.  Following a successful career as a real estate sales person, Donato (Danny) Romano decided to open his own real estate brokerage and founded ROMANO Realty Ltd. In 1975, ROMANO Realty opened with two sales persons and a simple goal to provide value-added service to their clients.  In 1985, ROMANO Realty became affiliated with HomeLife Realty, a network of independent/owner brokers comprised of 450 offices and 8,000 sales representatives, and changed his brokerage name to HomeLife/ROMANO Realty Ltd. Today, with sales representatives, brokers and staff numbering more than 100, HomeLife/ROMANO Realty Ltd. is a well established growing real estate brokerage providing real estate services to both buyers and sellers throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Early in his career, Donato’s personal interest in the total building process and the real estate industry directed him into land development and sales and marketing of new residential construction.  His dual exposure from both the developing and the marketing side of a property has given Donato a broad perspective on real estate.  He has worked extensively with engineers, bankers, lawyers and planning boards and is well-versed in the intricacies of the approval process at the local, regional and provincial levels of government. Donato is a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board, Ontario Real Estate Association and Canadian Real Estate Association.

Donato and his firm focus on the residential, commercial and industrial, and land development by offering a full complement of real estate services planned and designed to operate in the current real estate environment.
