Jack Cox


In 1974 and following an extensive Management Career with a North American Computer firm, Jack entered the real estate profession as a Salesperson. Within a short period of 14 months he was managing his first office with a major Canadian Real Estate Brokerage and in November 1976, he obtained his Broker Registration. Through his dedication and advanced training skills, Jack was recognized as a dynamic leader within the Brokerage as he established the #1 office within the Province of Ontario which was further acknowledged as being the #7 office in Canada. Due to his determined nature and commitment in developing quality real estate offices, Jack was privileged to be granted the Manager of the Year Designation in 1981. In 1983, Jack purchased franchise rights within the greater Toronto region with a major Brokerage and for 7 1/2 years, he was accountable for the hiring and development of all Sales Representatives; as well, the Management of the day to day sales activities. His company grew from a small real estate office with 18 salespersons into a major franchise brokerage comprising 82 registrants selling from two offices.

 

Following the sale of his corporate interests, Jack transferred to HomeLife/ROMANO Realty Ltd. as Sales Manager in June, 1992. He continues to be responsible for hiring, training and development of all Sales Representatives; as well as, designing, coordinating and implementation of educational real estate courses relating to the legalities, strategies, regulations and disciplines of the industry. Being committed to the profession Jack has actively participated as a volunteer with the Toronto Real Estate Board by serving on various committees ranging from Ethics to Ethics Appeal (Professional Standards) and Arbitration, the first of which was in 1981.

 

His philosophy is very simple...create confidence by providing knowledge to his Professional Sales Representatives thereby, enabling them to be on the leading edge of creativity and innovation by offering services mirroring the needs and desires of every client and customer.
