An integral element of a registrant’s overall success is the level of post licensing education and training offered and endorsed by the Real Estate Brokerage. What must be recognized is that the Ontario Real Estate Association’s Licensing Program is not designed to teach a person how to sell real estate, as the course is theoretical and its mandate is to educate one about industry and governmental regulations, land registration, property evaluations, legal applications, technical elements, contractual obligations and agency aspects of the profession. Not unlike a licensed tradesperson…one can be given the sophisticated tools of a profession, but such tools cannot be utilized until the person knows what it is designed for and how to apply the tool to a specific function.
Our never ending training seminars are offered at various venues with the most frequent programs being presented within the Brokerage office, eliminating the need for excessive travel. Our forums are designed to accelerate one’s knowledge of the day to day requirements necessary to succeed in a competitive and extremely rewarding financial career. The majority of programs have been designed and are presented by Jack Cox, General Manager who has been licensed since 1974 and has trained many of today’s well respected industry leading Brokers and Salespersons. To compliment our ongoing programs, we also endorse specialized seminars not limited to but presented by Lawyers, Mortgage Brokers, Home Inspectors, Accountants and Appraisers. We are also proud to boast of our Real Estate MBA two day seminar and our 4 day Homelife University Certificate Program.
The selection of the “Right Fit” of a Brokerage can be a complex process and if not carefully assessed, error in judgment can be devastating to one’s career. The most important element of the selection process never to be overlooked is the array of Educational Programs offered by the Brokerage which will assist you in reaching financial goals that you have never dreamed about.
